Update of project on July 15

This is a view of the front part of the orchestra pit and the sloped flooring where the 300 fixed seats will be located in the future. Rumor has it that a person can maintain a lifetme association with the school by honoring a family name who was a part of the school either as a parent, board member, teacher, administrator, or supporting missionary. The idea is that a family name would be engraved and fixed on each seat to help connect the past with the future of the organization. The idea is that a prescribed donation amount would earn the donor the right to name a theater seat to honor that person's contribution to the school's past and present. Our development office will have more information on these details in the near future.

This is a view below of the progress being made on the first level above the cafeteria which is the boys hall side of the first of five dorms to be built in phase I. The picture is taken from the interior of the future dorm lounge area directly in front of the future first floor dorm office which is being proposed as the Middle School dorm.

This picture below is the updated progress of the gym area which is at pre-rebar state. The gravel area in front of the concrete covered space will house offices for P.E. teachers, dressing rooms for athletes, clinic space for the school / dorm nurse, lobby areas and bathrooms for the activity center, and gymnasium. This area will also be home to the school's new cardio and weight room space. All of this will be on the B1 / 1st floor levels leaving the 2nd and 3rd floors for the administration office space, conference rooms and shared stairwell and elevator shaft. The wall and the blue netting at the top center of this picture is the west side of the school cafeteria and future west wall of all five dorms being built in phase I.

This picture was taken from the Northwest corner of the school and it is a picture of the service road which will be raised to a level in the future to allow Elementry students and staff the ability to exit their classrooms direct onto ground level. The window to the right in the picture is one of four windows that are showcased in the Elementary Library.
