These folks look like they just won a Publishers
Clearing House check and happy to share it, but
really they are just so excited to see the maple
floor in the gyms almost completely installed.

The stage in the Activity Center is finished as well.

Looks like we are half way there on the Activity floor but
actually it is finished as of today and I just failed to get
the latest picture taken.

The Show Case gym is very near completed, however
the plan is to cover both of these areas with protective
covering so they are not scratched or scarred while the
remaining overhead work gets completed in both areas.

The orchestra pit is getting some much deserved attention
today.

The future home for the fixed seats in the Performing
Arts Center below.

Please enjoy looking at several views below of the front
of our new school building. I have also included some
pictures of our driveway and service road. You can
get a good idea of what we will look like
from our street travelers.

An update for TCIS community before you leave on vacation

Below is the school Activity Center with maple wood
flooring being put down. This is a space for assemblies,
presentations, banquets, P.E. classes, sports
practices, games, church services and much more.
This space will be a very welcomed multipurpose
area for many programs.

Below is the delivery of maple flooring to our show case gym
to begin the process of installing the floor for this gym. This is
where our varsity practices and games will take place. This is also
space that will be used by the PE department in teaching
their classes and much more.

Below are a group of men who
like the astroturf sample being
presented as the product to be
delivered in early August
for installation. Some changes
have been made to this area
such as Rugby lines added
to the field, because
our school now has a
Rugby team.

Here is a nice group of parents that are interested
in sending their family members to our school this
up coming year. They were given a full campus
tour after receiving a briefing about our school
from the headmaster and our admissions personnel.

Progress is happening everywhere on the work site

This is the tennis court area and the westward wall that
is being built to completely inclose the tennis court
space. This area will be utilized for alternative
recreation events on the sand filled astroturf surface.

Glass is being installed in the stairwell of
the Administration / Activity building.

In the picture below trees are being planted in the open
space outside the ELC in order to bring some life
to this area.

This is a picture of the space that will become
the future covered walkway from the atrium to
the Administration / Activity building.

This view below is a cement truck delivering
cement to finish the security guard
building on the school's exit gate on the
service road at the Northwest corner
of our campus.

Below are the steps along side the
Administration and Activity building
which is an exterior route from lower
campus to the upper campus area.

Below are marble slate steps that are being
installed in all the buildings this week.

Here is the latest view of the campus taken from the Art class room deck area
located on the roof of the Educational building.

Two very serious individuals below are discussing adding rugby lines to the soccer field
area as well as changing the track from a different colored turf to lines instead which will allow the soccer
field to become a few meters wider. Mr. Moi Moi the on the right
is the school Rugby coach and Mr. Rader is the Athletic Director and they are both
wanting to create quality recreation space that can be used well by the entire community.

The ground has been filled in and leveled off between the Elementary classrooms
at first floor level on the left side of the picture and the edge of the
concrete roof of the Fine Arts building.

Here below is the latest view of the front parking lot and security guard building.
The main entrance to the school will be on the left side of the small building in the
lower left side of the picture. The buses and cars will enter here to drive
by the front door of the school (which is located to the right of
the two piles of dirt) where they will drop off the students.

Below is the latest progress on the educational building with
the fifth floor almost completely closed in from the weather now.
The fifth floor will be the home to the Art class  rooms, Counseling department
as well as Bible and Social Studies classes. They have quite a view with a long sky
roof to allow natural light the length of the hallway area.

A new crew is on site now!

Here is the new crew that is determined to finish the job on time. Also the
blogger wishes to point out that he got Mr. Lee, Sung Yeob fully in the picture this time.

The New Beginning

I know everyone is probably wondering where the photographer and blogger went off to since June 23, 2011 and the answer to your question on this matter is that he was divinely delayed but has been called back into action. His first official picture proves he is out of practice but promises to improve. The blogger promises to keep the community informed each week along with pictures and the progress of the work on the site. Below is the captured moment from the bloggers first picture since the project was stopped in July of 2011.

A construction team luncheon took place on Friday May 4th to ensure that the project will be completed on time. Dr. Penland hosted the meeting in a restaurant in Techno Valley. The attendees of this meeting included the HMF construction team leader Mr. Jong Taeck Lee who is seated directly behind Dr. Penland and this man is in charge of the project and will work closely with Dr. Penland weekly to keep him informed of the progress. Architect Sung Yeob Lee seated on the front left who is the president of the Kira Jeonbuk, which is a Chapter of Korean Institute of Registered Architects will be the architect on site to work with Kunkuk construction. The blogger who was also present at this meeting apologizes for not getting Mr. Lee completely in the picture, he promises to do better in his next picture of Mr. Lee working at the new site, Mr. Lee is a very important person in the project to ensure proper supervision happens throughout and will be answering to Mr. Jong Taeck Lee on all matters. The second man on the left side of the picture is Kunkuk constructions Director of his construction team on site and his name is Mr. Yang, Bong Mo. Seated directly behind him is one of the supervisors on the site for HMF and his name is Jung, Young Sun he will be assisting Mr. Sung Yeob Lee in the overall supervision process of the site.
